While Kulle Gowda set his sugarcane crop ablaze at Bevinahalli on the outskirts of Mandya, Umesh destroyed his crop using a tractor at Uppinakere in Maddur taluk.

BELAGAVI, July 7, 2015 Vijaykumar Patil One more debt-ridden farmer, Parasappa Yallappa Sampagavi (35), committed suicide by consuming pesticide at his native Ganeshwadi in Gokak, which is also the home taluk of Small Scale Industries and district in-charge Minister Satish L. Jarkiholi, on Sunday evening.
